I am a geek but technology and I have a love hate relationship. I love it and, well, you get the meaning. So here goes...
I was just testing out sending a post to my blog via my Blackberry as a text. As cool of a feature as that is, I won't use it very much because I can only post one line at a time. But for once, I embraced technology and it didn't turn it's back on me as usual.

Fantastic Yarn Raffle for a Good Cause
The reason my blog is mostly about knitting and crocheting is not because that's the only craft I enjoy, but because of the creation of Ravelry.com. The people on that site have been generous with their time and talents and inspire me in more ways than just knitting. A couple things I've learned is to appreciate good yarn but probably most important is that I've been reminded that there are still good people out there. So, when I found Lynlee's raffle of the most beautiful yarn and the opportunity to help someone even in a small way, I jumped on it. The link to her blog is here and the prizes are beautiful. Plus, I get the warm fuzzy feeling of helping to make a child smile. What could be more rewarding?
